Pavillions

Coco Republic Commercial Design were contracted to furnish the community spaces at Pavilions Blackburn Lak, a luxury, eco-conscious retirement project. The brief was to create contemporary spaces within a modern beautifully designed space set within acres of parkland. We fitted out concierge, lounge areas, library, games room, billiard room, movie theatre and private dining spaces for residents as well as a street front café that is open to the public. The materiality of the project centred around natural textures for upholstery and rugs as well as an injection of marble and brass. Black accents added a touch of drama to the spaces which each had outlook to parklands. Sofas and occasional seating had lovely rounded shapes which complemented the table and floor lamps. Selected pieces that were fit for purpose for retirement living whilst still having a designer, contemporary feel.
